The Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest held its 2011 Bids for Kids Auction & Gala at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel recently. More than 375 guests, sponsors and honorees attended and participated in an extensive silent auction and raffle, as well as the Fund a Need portion of the evening, helping to raise $157,000 to benefit the quality out-of-school programs offered by the organization.

Celebrity emcee Susan Wornick of WCVB Channel 5 was a crowd pleaser for the fourth year in a row and shared in the importance of the evening: our kids.

“We are thankful for the support of all of our wonderful sponsors who helped make this year’s gala a tremendous success,” said Fran Hurley, president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metrowest. “The evening’s theme was Dream the Future, and thanks to our great supporters, we are able to provide the opportunity for a positive future to over 650 kids each day in the MetroWest community.”

A special thank you to all of our sponsors who recognize the important mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest and have invested in an organization that helps so many young people reach their potential as responsible and productive adults.
